weather forecast
The new week brings us a fundamental change in the weather. A strong high-pressure system is expanding from the North Sea to Central Europe and guarantees us perfectly nice weather until Thursday, after the dissipation of the last remaining high fog-like clouds. However, during the first half of the week, we are still dealing with late winter cold air. This means we can initially expect significant below-freezing temperatures during the clear nights and only slowly rising temperatures during the day. But as the center of the high-pressure system then shifts to Eastern Europe by Thursday, the large-scale flow over the Alps subsequently turns to the south, so that noticeably milder air from the Mediterranean region reaches us during the second half of the week. On Friday, this high-reaching warming will be accompanied by a few harmless, high cloud fields. But even on the weekend, the clouds are not yet too dense, and the southern föhn wind in the mountains is not too strong either.
