The weather-determining high-pressure system is now moving more sustainably towards Eastern Europe. Between this system and the low pressure off the European Atlantic coast, the Alps will be in a predominantly south to southwest flow for the next period. This will result in a mostly föhn-dry weather period, which will likely be interrupted by temporary winter weather for only one day. A mix of sun and clouds will give way to more compact cloud cover by evening on Monday. These clouds will quickly dissipate on Tuesday, resulting in a rather sunny day. At the same time, it will become somewhat colder in the mountains at the beginning of the week. However, it will become milder again with a strong increase in the southerly föhn wind from Wednesday to Thursday. New clouds will mix with the sunshine, but it will remain free of precipitation. This föhn-mild and stable weather phase will only be interrupted on Friday by a briefly passing cold front.
